The End

I think Neil Young said it best when he coined the phrase "It's better to burn out than to fade away." Therefore, I have decided to put A Reluctant Mom to bed for good. I thank you, kind readers, for keeping me company, offering advice and providing some comfort these past four years. I have enjoyed the journey and learned a great deal. I hope you have, too.

If you want to get in touch, please write to me at areluctantmom@yahoo.com. (And feel free to tell me how much you miss my blog and wish I never left.)

Peace.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that someone might cause you to feel that you can't write anymore. I enjoy your posts and your comical look on the simple things in life that happen to all of us. I for one will keep you on the feed reader until I know you really really have decided this is right for you - hopefully you'll be reinspired. Thanks for all the great posts!

This is very sad. I hope you are doing something you enjoy to replace this. I will miss reading your blog.Susan

That is sad. You are such an incredible writer. I have red all your subjects and enjoy them all. I hope to read you again.

How about this new blog you started? Sounds like such a good idea. I hope you give it a try.

Love you,

Gabrielle

Wow will I miss you here! You've helped me immeasurably in my quest to be a better parent for my daughter. Don't worry, I'll for sure be checking back in. I hope your new directions bear fruit and bring you joy!

Add me to the list of those that will miss you! What am I supposed to read with my coffee in the morning?

Seriously, while it IS sad for all of us, I hope you have a few new things in the pipeline to keep you challenged and sane! All the best

Why the decision to leave? I only just found you a few months ago. I hate that you're leaving. I think you're a gifted writer and have a way with words to share your experiences. But I hope it's a decision you're happy with and that you're spending your time doing something else worthwhile....

You guys! You totally know how to warm a gal's heart. Thank you all for the kind words and well wishes. I may just have to start another blog, and if I do, I'll be sure to let you all know. Thanks so much for making me feel so special. :)

RWD, I'm a day late and a dollar short, but your blog was always a thought-provoking read and it will truly be missed. Hope you start another soon...talent (and opinions!) like yours should be exercised daily.

I hope your leaving means you're off to bigger and better things... my 2 cents is I think you should write a book!!! your humour, witt and writing styles keeps me reading and asking for more... I will look out for your name at Barnes and Nobles and the like :)

Meanwhile, as one of your later followers, I hope your archived entries hangout online, as I have been enjoying older blogs :)

Good luck!

Aw, shucks, ladies!
Nadia, yes, the older posts are still there, but if they ever fail to publish (and you wonder if I've covered a topic), feel free to write me at areluctantmom@yahoo.com. I have kept them all.
